Yves-Marie Gayet is the Global Head of International Trade and Transaction Banking (ITB) at Crédit Agricole CIB. The ITB division covers the activities of Trade Finance, Commodities Finance, Export Finance, Receivable & Supply Chain Finance and Cash Management, businesses with presence across 21 countries.
Yves-Marie has more than 30 years of relevant experience in Corporate & Investment Banking and consulting. Prior to his present position, he occupied several significant management positions at Société Générale Corporate and Investment Bank, both in Paris and London over a period of 15 years: he successively became Deputy, then Head of a structured financing business line, then Deputy Head of commodities markets in 2008. In 2012, Yves-Marie was appointed Executive Director of the French Brazilian Chamber of Commerce of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, while continuing to perform consultancy activities for large European clients and international financial institutions. He joined Crédit Agricole CIB in 2019 as Senior Country Officer for Brazil before being appointed Head of Latin America in 2021 in addition to his role of Senior Country Officer.
Yves-Marie Gayet is an engineer graduated from ESIEA, a French engineering school in the field of computer and digital sciences. He is based in Paris.
