Chuey Peng is the Head of Global Commodities Finance, part of Global Corporate Banking Division, in OCBC Bank. She has more than 30 years of relevant experience, having held leadership positions in various global banks including European commodity finance market leaders such as BNP Paribas, Fortis Bank and Abn Amro Bank, before joining Southeast Asia’s second largest lender, OCBC Bank. Chuey Peng leads a team of Relationship Manager specialists who provide advisory and curated trade financing solutions, combined with other banking products across Treasury, Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, and Commodities Brokerage in one holistic package to the ecosystem players in the commodity sectors. The Bank’s extensive and deep footprint in Asia brings value to global players seeking to extend their presence in Asia.

Chuey Peng has been conferred the “IBF Fellow” title by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (‘MAS’), in recognition of her contributions to promoting the trade industry and Singapore as a regional commodity hub, and to uplift the practices of commodity financing. She is currently in the steering committee for the industry-led, MAS-sponsored Trade Finance Registry. Within the Bank, she is a champion of digital change and transformation.
